The International Report on the Recycling of Wind and Photovoltaic Equipment Industries, edited by the International Renewable Energy Equipment Recycling Association and the Global Wind Energy Council and written with the participation of the Wind and Solar Equipment Recycling Committee of the China National Resources Recycling Association, has been released.
The report comprehensively analyzes the current status and development trends of the global wind power and photovoltaic equipment recycling industry, covering aspects such as industry foundation, policy support, technical challenges and future development directions. It aims to promote the sustainable recycling and utilization of wind power and photovoltaic equipment and contribute to the green development of the global renewable energy industry.
The report was contributed and edited by Wind and Solar Equipment Recycling Committee in the China National Resources Recycling Association and the College of Urban and Environmental Sciences in Peking University. The China National Resources Recycling Association (CRRA) was established in 1992. It is a national corporate legal person industry organization approved and registered by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China and one of the largest industry self-regulatory organizations for the recycling of renewable resources in China.

In the "International Wind Power and Photovoltaic Equipment Recycling Industry Development Report", RESOLAR's innovative technology was specially mentioned.
RESOLAR has developed a proprietary technology combining "physical disassembly, chemical separation, thermal separation and wet impurity removal" to recycle decommissioned or production-defective PV modules. This innovative process extracts high-purity regenerated silicon materials, including 6N-grade silicon suitable for direct use in PV wafer production, achieving true green closed-loop recycling. RESOLAR has completed the construction of a large-scale production line in Fengyang, Anhui Province, with an annual processing capacity of more than 10,000 tons of PV modules annually. RESOLAR can recycle 5,000 tons of factory-grade solar cells annually, and can produce 3,500 tons of silicon ingots and 200 million to 300 million silicon wafers and solar cells annually.
To address the problem of low-purity of glass powder from traditional photovoltaic recycling methods-often contaminated with silicon powder, EVA film and other impurities-the production line applies self-adaptive frame disassembly and initial crushing of PV glass. The wet separation solvent developed by RESOLAR enables the EVA film to swell efficiently, realizing the recycling of high-purity photovoltaic glass.
For silver recovery, traditional techniches often yield silver powder mixed with silicon, glass and other metal powders, resulting in low purity. RESOLAR has developed its own pyrolysis furnace for thermal separation of solar cells and copper connecting ribbons. This is followed by a chemical silver recovery process that produces high-purity silver ingots . The recovered pure silver has significant value, and the process is characterized by maturity, low losses and high efficiency.
