The “new trio” shifts from manufacturing-led to circularity-led development, with RESOLAR invited to appear on the Wenhui Lecture Hall
Jul 24, 2026

On July 18, 2026, the fourth session of the annual Wen Hui Lecture Hall themed lecture series “Green Development: Greener, More Prosperous, More Beautiful and Stronger”—the eighth lecture in the series “From the ‘New Three Products’ to ‘New Solid Waste’: The Full Life Cycle of New Quality Productive Forces”—will be held.

RESOLAR is honored to attend as an invited corporate guest. Deputy General Manager Wang Hudong will share our technological breakthroughs and industrial practices in the field of photovoltaic recycling.

I. Policy Background

The Development Plan for the Circular Economy during the 15th Five-Year Plan Period has been officially issued. It sets the goal of achieving an output value of RMB 8 trillion for the resource recycling industry by 2030 and clearly calls for addressing shortcomings in the recycling of solid waste from the “New Three Products”—power batteries, photovoltaics and wind power.

II. Keynote Perspectives
Zhang Rongqi, Secretary-General of the Recycling Branch of Fiber-Reinforced Composites under the China Association of Material Recycling, will systematically review the structural challenges currently facing the “New Three Products”: bottlenecks in core component technologies, high dependence on overseas mineral resources and continuously rising green compliance costs. He will also explore how to shift from “leading in manufacturing” to “leading in recycling.”

III. Corporate Practices (Two Typical Cases)

Weixiang Zhongyi (Power Batteries): Deputy General Manager Liu Tao will share the “second-life” model for power batteries—extending value through the utilization of complete battery packs at the front end, ensuring environmental protection through material recovery at the back end, and creating a full-life-cycle closed loop.

RESOLAR (Photovoltaic Recycling): Deputy General Manager Wang Hudong will introduce the world’s first fully recycled photovoltaic module jointly developed with its partners. He will also share innovations in recycling technologies across the entire industry chain, the implementation of large-scale production lines, joint development of industry standards and global industrial practices.

IV. Roundtable and Series Lecture Schedule
The roundtable discussion will be moderated by Li Liang, Chairman of the Shanghai Energy Conservation and Emissions Reduction Center. The four guests will engage in an in-depth discussion on the recycling challenges facing the New Three Products and potential responses.
