Juanjuan Yao , director of the Business Development Department of the Swedish Environmental Research Institute in China, warned that the EU Sustainable Ecodesign Directive has come into effect, requiring photovoltaic modules to provide a "digital passport" and full life cycle environmental data. She introduced the world's first internationally recognized EPD certification tool jointly developed by her team and the State Power Investment Corporation, which can generate an environmental product declaration report with one click. The first batch of certificates were issued on site for Sungrow Power Supply and TBEA Xinjiang New Energy.
Bingnan Li , climate communication project manager of the ecological environment volunteer service organization "Airman" (video speech), pointed out through African research cases that developing countries are facing the dual dilemma of "shortage of recycling facilities" and "energy constraints". She called for the inclusion of photovoltaic recycling in the framework of the Basel Convention and the establishment of a cross-border recycling coordination mechanism.
JinkoSolar Global Solutions Manager Hanqing Bi showcased the world's first "zero-carbon module" - green electricity is used throughout the production process from silicon materials to modules, reducing carbon emissions by 75% compared to conventional products.
Hudong Wang , deputy general manager of Shanghai Jinghuan Jiayuan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., demonstrated the world's first fully recycled photovoltaic module (conversion efficiency 20.7%). RESOLAR's independently developed "GST green separation method" combines the advantages of physical and chemical methods.
Huliang Zhuang , general manager of Changzhou Ruisai Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., estimated that the value of recycling a 1GW photovoltaic power station after decommissioning is 700-800 million yuan, and the domestic market size for recycling retired wind and solar modules will exceed 100 billion yuan in 2050. However, the current industry faces three major challenges : "disorderly competition", "unclear technical route", and "imperfect policy and standard system" . He suggested that regulations, standards and other documents should be used to force photovoltaic products to use recycled materials.
Zhijun Chen , general manager of Yida Intelligent Environmental Protection Technology (Quzhou) Co., Ltd., suggested integrating supply through the "Internet + smart recycling platform" and exploring new business models such as "artistic reuse of retired components."
Lifang Ma , Director of the Policy Research Department of the Renewable Energy Professional Committee of the China Circular Economy Association, released a report titled "Research on the Construction of a Circular System in China's New Energy Industry" , proposing four suggestions:
1. Implementing the extended producer responsibility system
2. Build a nationwide recycling and transportation network
3. Improve the technical standards system
4. Activate the recycled materials market
