On August 21, 2024, in order to implement the State Council's "Action Plan for Promoting Large-Scale Equipment Updates and Consumer Goods Replacement" (Guofa [2024] No. 7), and promote large-scale equipment updates and technological transformation in key energy fields, the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration organized the preparation and release of the "Implementation Plan for Large-Scale Equipment Updates in Key Energy Fields". The plan mentioned that by 2027, the scale of equipment investment in key energy fields will increase by more than 25% compared with 2023. Promote the research and development of residual life assessment technology for photovoltaic equipment in old photovoltaic power stations, and encourage the update of high-efficiency photovoltaic module power generation equipment. Promote the development of photovoltaic module recycling and reuse technology, and support the low-cost green disassembly of photovoltaic modules based on physical and chemical methods, and the research and development of high-value component efficient and environmentally friendly separation technology and complete sets of equipment.
