On April 2, 2024, the People's Government of Zhejiang Province issued Several Measures to Promote Large-Scale Equipment Renewal and Consumer Goods Replacement in Zhejiang Province, proposing to complete the upgrading and transformation of wind power installed capacity of more than 70,000 kilowatts and the retirement of photovoltaic installed capacity of more than 100,000 kilowatts by 2027, and to explore the residual life assessment of wind power and photovoltaic equipment and promote the cascade utilization of wind power and photovoltaic equipment.
On May 10, 2024, the People's Government of Hebei Province issued the "Implementation Plan for Promoting Large-Scale Equipment Updates and Consumer Goods Replacement in Hebei Province", which mentioned promoting the update of high-efficiency and high-reliability advanced equipment in the aviation, photovoltaic, power battery and other industries. Promote the transformation and upgrading of wind farms. On June 5, 2024, the People's Government of Tangshan City in Hebei Province issued the "Tangshan City Work Plan for Promoting Large-Scale Equipment Updates and Consumer Goods Replacement", proposing to promote the renewal and transformation of energy industry equipment and complete the retirement of more than 100,000 kilowatts of photovoltaic installed capacity.
On June 6, 2024, the Jinhua Municipal Development and Reform Commission issued the "Special Action Plan for Equipment Renewal in the Energy Sector of Jinhua City", proposing to promote the replacement of photovoltaic modules with larger ones that have been in operation for more than 10 years, with a panel power of less than 250 watts and an energy conversion efficiency of less than 18%. By 2025, the cumulative photovoltaic modules will be updated or retired by more than 22 megawatts.
On June 11, 2024, the Quzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission issued the "Quzhou Energy Field Equipment Update Special Action Plan", proposing to promote the replacement of photovoltaic modules that have been in operation for more than 10 years, with a panel power of less than 250 watts and an energy conversion efficiency of less than 18% with larger ones. By the end of 2024, 10,000 kilowatts of photovoltaic equipment will be updated or retired, with an investment of 30 million yuan; by 2027, a total of 50,000 kilowatts of photovoltaic modules will be updated, with a cumulative investment of 150 million yuan.
On June 13, 2024, the Development and Reform Bureau of Pinghu City, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, issued the "Pinghu City Energy Field Equipment Update Special Plan", proposing to promote the replacement of photovoltaic modules with larger ones that have been in operation for more than 10 years, with a panel power of less than 250 watts and an energy conversion efficiency of less than 18%. By 2027, the cumulative photovoltaic module update will exceed 3 megawatts.
On July 9, 2024, the Wenzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission issued the "Wenzhou Energy Field Equipment Update Special Action Plan", which mentioned promoting the replacement of photovoltaic modules with larger ones that have been in operation for more than 10 years, with a panel power of less than 250 watts and an energy conversion efficiency of less than 18%. By 2027, the cumulative photovoltaic module update will be 15,200 kilowatts.
On July 15, 2024, the Shaoxing Municipal Development and Reform Commission issued the "Shaoxing Energy Field Equipment Update Special Action Plan", proposing to promote the replacement of photovoltaic modules with larger ones that have been in operation for more than 10 years, with a panel power of less than 250 watts and an energy conversion efficiency of less than 20%. By 2027, the cumulative photovoltaic module update will exceed 20,000 kilowatts.
On September 19, 2024, the Ningbo Energy Bureau issued the "Ningbo Energy Field Equipment Update Special Action Plan", proposing to promote the replacement of photovoltaic modules with larger ones that have been in operation for more than 10 years, with a panel power of less than 250 watts and an energy conversion efficiency of less than 18%. By 2027, the cumulative photovoltaic module update will be 30,000 kilowatts.
On September 20, 2024, the Hangzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission issued the "Hangzhou Energy Field Equipment Update Special Action Plan", which mentioned that photovoltaic modules that have been in operation for more than 10 years, with a panel power of less than 250 watts and an energy conversion efficiency of less than 18% will be replaced with larger ones and new ones will be replaced with old ones. By 2027, the cumulative photovoltaic modules will be updated to more than 30,450 kilowatts.
On October 15, 2024, the People's Government of Jiande City issued a notice on the issuance of "Several Measures for Promoting Large-Scale Equipment Updates and Consumer Goods Replacement in Jiande City", which pointed out that it would promote equipment updates in the energy field. By the end of 2027, more than 10,000 kilowatts of photovoltaic installed capacity will be retired.
