On October 23-24, 2025, the "Photovoltaic Industry High-Quality Development and Technical Standards Forum" was successfully held, jointly organized by the China Electronics Standardization Institute and the China Photovoltaic Industry Association. The forum, themed "Standards Lead the Way, Quality Wins the Future," featured one main forum and three sub-forums, comprehensively covering topics on standardization and quality improvement across the photovoltaic industry chain. The main forum released key achievements such as the Photovoltaic Industry Carbon Footprint Local Data Version 2.0 and the Photovoltaic Hydrogen Production Industry Development Research Report, with in-depth discussions on macro-level issues like mandatory standards for photovoltaic components.
The sub-forums focused on three key directions: quality improvement of battery components, system-level technological innovation, and green low-carbon transformation. On October 23-24, 2025, the "2025 Photovoltaic Industry High-Quality Development and Technical Standards Forum" was successfully held, jointly organized by the China Electronics Standardization Institute and the China Photovoltaic Industry Association. The forum, themed "Standards Lead the Way, Quality Wins the Future—Enhancing Full Industry Chain Standards to Build a New Pattern for High-Quality Development of the Photovoltaic Industry," brought together representatives from government departments, industry associations, research institutions, and key enterprises in the photovoltaic industry chain.
During the main forum, Yang Xudong, Director of the Electronics and Information Department at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, emphasized that the photovoltaic industry is a crucial component of China's strategic emerging industries. Currently, the industry is undergoing deep adjustments and transformations, making it imperative to prioritize technological innovation capabilities. Guo Dan, Deputy Director of the China Electronics Standardization Institute, stressed that standardization efforts must be more forward-looking, adaptable, and systematic, both leading technological innovation and supporting large-scale applications.
