On May 10, 2026, in Shanghai——today, the 7th Shanghai Innovation and Entrepreneurship Youth 50 Forum (Y50) was grandly held at Shanghai Centre. Shanghai Jinghuan Jiayuan Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Jinghuan Jiayuan”), a hard-tech enterprise focused on high-value recycling of photovoltaic modules, was invited to attend and delivered an important roadshow at the Youth Sci-Tech Carnival’s Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Session.
It is worth mentioning that the main venue of this year’s forum brought together Nobel Laureate in Chemistry Michael Levitt, the global top innovation platform that once incubated Google, Plug and Play(Plug and Play) global co-founder Saeed Amidi and “the world’s first publicly listed AI silicon photonics chip company”Lightelligence founder Shen Yichen, along with other world-leading scientists and industry leaders. As a representative project in the photovoltaic recycling industry, Jinghuan Jiayuan resonated with global wisdom and demonstrated China’s innovative strength in the field of photovoltaic circular economy.

This year’s forum continued the “main forum + sci-tech carnival” model. The main forum featured major sessions such as announcements and releases, policy interpretation, keynote speeches, and roundtable dialogues; the Sci-Tech Carnival centrally showcased youth innovation projects and promoted project financing matchmaking and implementation for commercialization. It is also noteworthy that this year’s forum partnered with Stanford University, National University of Singapore, and The University of Hong Kong, with alumni from the three universities simultaneously holding themed youth innovation and entrepreneurship events. At the forum, many guests explained the symbiotic relationship between youth and the city from different perspectives. 2013 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, Stanford University Professor of Structural Biology Michael Levitt pointed out that Shanghai has a complete innovation chain and is fertile ground for young people to connect the entire process from the laboratory to the market. 2013 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry and Stanford University Professor of Structural Biology Michael Levitt Plug and Play global co-founder and Chairman of Plug and Play China Saeed Amidi shared practical experience on how innovation incubation accelerates the two-way journey between youth and the city, providing technology empowerment and industrial resources for startups. Plug and Play is a world-leading technology innovation platform and a veteran Silicon Valley incubator that previously incubated or invested in Google, PayPal, Dropbox, and other tech giants. Its presence not only injected authentic Silicon Valley DNA into the forum. Plug and Play global co-founder and Chairman of Plug and Play China Saeed Amidi “the world’s first publicly listed AI silicon photonics chip company” Lightelligence Chairman Shen Yichen recounted his entrepreneurial experience of taking root in Shanghai from the laboratory. The company has grown with the empowerment of the city and helped Shanghai build a global highland for photonic computing and AI computing power innovation. Lightelligence Chairman Shen Yichen The forum’s roundtable dialogue also featured a major highlight: the humanoid robot “Shen Xiaoyuan,” powered by Zhiyuan Lingxi X2, appeared on site and answered questions and interacted with guests. In its self-introduction, Shen Xiaoyuan said it has mobility and learning capabilities, is deeply rooted in Shanghai, and embraces the wave of urban sci-tech innovation and development. Speaking of Shanghai’s development opportunities during the “15th Five-Year Plan” period, Shen Xiaoyuan said that Shanghai’s future industrial layout is well developed, its industrial chain is complete, and policy support is strong, providing broad implementation space for humanoid robots to enter factories, communities, and various service scenarios. Roundtable dialogue guests: Zhou Yuxiang, Founder and CEO of Black Lake Technologies Xiong Yijiang, Founder and Chairman of Guangbenwei Intelligent Technology Lin Lin, Founder and CEO of Huihe Medical Zhiyuan Lingxi X2humanoid robot Shen Xiaoyuan During the roadshow session for Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas audiences in the afternoon, Jinghuan Jiayuan directly faced global capital and showcased its original GST green dismantling and SWT silicon material cleaning technologies. These technologies can efficiently separate decommissioned photovoltaic modules into recycled glass, metals, and 6N-grade (99.9999%) high-purity silicon materials, directly addressing the environmental pain points of the photovoltaic industry’s “decommissioning wave.” During the roadshow, Jinghuan Jiayuan particularly emphasized the global deployment capability of its technology reserves: it not only has a tens-of-thousands-of-tons-scale mass production base in Fengyang, Anhui, but also has process compatibility with strict European and American environmental regulations. Cases including the world’s first fully recycled and regenerated photovoltaic module (developed in cooperation with Trina Solar) and its selection into the International Energy Agency (IEA) global photovoltaic recycling report proved to on-site investors the scarcity and global replicability potential of this solution under the ESG investment wave, generating strong interest from industrial and financial capital.
