RESOLAR has completed the entire industry chain from dismantling retired modules to the purification of high-purity silver and silicon, enabling resource recycling of all components including glass, silicon, silver, aluminum materials, and ribbons. The complete process can be implemented in retired photovoltaic disposal projects in China and overseas.

As the first domesticphotovoltaic recycling enterprise to receive venture capital investment, RESOLAR achieved mass production at its 10,000-ton-level production line in Fengyang, Anhui in 2024, producing recycled glass, aluminum, 6N-grade silicon materialand other recycled materials, and achieved significant economic benefits.

In July 2025, RESOLAR completed tens of millions of yuan in Series A financing, jointly invested by the investment platform under Ronghe Technology, and  CITIC Environmental Industry Fund while the existing shareholder Bright Capital continued to increase its investment.

With the project initiated by the Photovoltaic Recycling Industry Development Cooperation Center and led by Trina Solar, RESOLAR, Flat Group, Yongzhen, and Zhongju jointly manufactured the world’s first fully recycled photovoltaic module, and won the First Prize in the 2nd Energy Electronics Industry Innovation Competition of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. RESOLAR’s retired photovoltaic module recycling and high-value utilization technology won the Third Prize in the 2nd Energy Electronics Industry Innovation Competition of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

RESOLAR was selected into the first batch of the “Recommended List of Enterprises for the Recycling of Retired Wind Power and Photovoltaic Equipment” (13 enterprises were selected in total).

The case of RESOLAR was included in the China Green Supply Chain Alliance Photovoltaic Special Committee’s “2024 White Paper on Photovoltaic Recycling and Circular Utilization in China”, and the “2024 China Wind Power and Photovoltaic Equipment Recycling Industry Development Report” of the Wind and Photovoltaic Equipment Recycling Professional Committee of the China Association of Recycling Economy.

The case of RESOLAR was rated as one of the Top Ten Brands in China’s Photovoltaic Module Recycling Industry in the “In-depth Analysis and Investment Prospect Research Report on the Development of China’s Photovoltaic Module Recycling Industry (2024-2031)” released by ChinaBaogao.com.

International Institute of Green Finance, Central University of Finance and Economics (IIGF), in its report “Brief Analysis of the Development Path of Financial Support for the Wind and Photovoltaic Recycling Industry”, listed the financing case of RESOLAR (investor: Bright Capital) as a domestic demonstration case of financial support for the circular economy.

RESOLAR was specially mentioned in the “International Report on the Recycling of Windand Photovoltaic Eguipment Industries” (“International Wind Power and Photovoltaic Equipment Recycling Industry Development Report”), edited by the International Renewable Energy Equipment Recycling Association and the Global Wind Energy Council, with in-depth participation in writing by the Wind and Photovoltaic Equipment Recycling Special Committee of the China Association of Recycling Economy. The innovative achievements of RESOLAR in photovoltaic recycling technology have attracted widespread global attention.

RESOLAR was rated as one of the seven major enterprises in the wind and photovoltaic recycling industry by the “2025-2031 China Retired Wind Power and Photovoltaic Equipment Recycling Industry Market In-depth Research and Investment Strategy Research Report” released by the Huajing Industry Research Institute, among which only 4 enterprises focus on or are involved in photovoltaic recycling business.

RESOLAR participated in the formulation of the group standards of the Inner Mongolia Standardization Association, “Recycling and Treatment Method for Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic Modules — Pyrolysis Method” and “Guidelines for Scrapping Determination of Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic Modules”, promoting green photovoltaic recycling.

The case of RESOLAR was included in the “2025-2030 Global and China Retired Photovoltaic Equipment Recycling and Utilization Industry Development Prospects and Investment Strategy Planning Analysis Report” released by Qianzhan Industry Research Institute.
