The finals and award ceremony of the Solar Photovoltaic Track of the 2nd Energy Electronics Industry Innovation Competition were grandly held in Linyi from December 19 to 20, 2024. The competition was co-organized by the Industrial Development Promotion Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Linyi Municipal People's Government, aiming to showcase the innovative strength and cutting-edge technology of my country's energy electronics industry.

Since the registration was opened on September 26, 2024, the competition has received a total of 261 entries from across the country. After strict screening and preliminary evaluation, 145 works were finally shortlisted for the finals.

In the photovoltaic module recycling topic finals of the 2nd Energy Electronics Industry Innovation Competition, RESOLAR achieved remarkable results.

The world's first fully recycled photovoltaic module won the first prize. This project was established by ECOPV and led by Trina Solar, jointly manufactured by RESOLAR, FLAT Group, Yongzhen and Zhongju.

Longyan Technology's cadmium telluride thin-film photovoltaic module recycling technology and Yi Dao New Energy's crystalline silicon photovoltaic module recycling industrial park won second prizes.

RESOLAR's technology of decommissioned photovoltaic module recycling and high-value utilization and Ningxia University's photovoltaic module supercritical recycling technology won third prizes.

The "GST (Green Swelling Technology) Green Separation Method" technology independently developed by RESOLAR has successfully produced 6N (99.9999%) grade silicon materials with its high efficiency, environmental protection, low cost and industrializability, realizing the full recycling of photovoltaic modules from retirement to regeneration, significantly reducing carbon emissions and costs.

As China's first venture capital-funded photovoltaic recycling company, RESOLAR's 10,000-ton photovoltaic recycling production line built in Fengyang, Anhui has officially entered mass production, producing a variety of products including recycled glass, aluminum, 6N-grade silicon materials, silver ingots, connecting ribbons and junction box cables, with significant economic benefits.
