On October 18,2024, China Resources Recycling Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China Resources Recycling Group) was established in Tianjin. Its shareholders include Sinopec, China Baowu Steel Group, China Minmetals, China Resources Group, China Aluminum Corporation and other central government-owned enterprises.

This is the 98th central government-owned enterprise and the first "national team" in the resource recycling industry.

China Resources Recycling Group's business covers offline resource recycling network construction and scrap steel recycling, recycling and trade-in of durable consumer goods such as electronic products, new energy vehicle and electric bicycle waste battery business, recycling of retired wind power and photovoltaic equipment, recycling of scrap non-ferrous metals, and recycling and processing of scrap plastics.
