On October 12, 2026, Bohai Rim News Network reported that the Tangshan Branch of China Merchants Bank completed Tangshan’s first “three-flow-integrated reverse invoicing” transaction for a resource recycling enterprise. A scrap metal recycling subsidiary of a steel company needed reverse invoicing services. Leveraging its qualification for access to the “Leqi” joint-use platform, the branch completed the entire process—company account opening, Leqi certification, and system configuration—in just two days. This enabled the enterprise to issue its first reverse invoice and addressed practical challenges faced by recycling businesses in issuing invoices and ensuring tax compliance. To date, the branch has served more than 20 resource recycling enterprises, providing strong support for the development of the local circular economy.
